Auli - The Skiing Capital of India

Situated at an impressive altitude of 2,800 meters, Auli is undoubtedly one of India's premier skiing destinations. Surrounded by coniferous and oak forests, this picturesque hill station transforms into a white winter wonderland from December to March, and a lush green carpet of alpine meadows during the summer. It offers unparalleled tranquility away from the usual bustling tourist crowds.

Auli Ropeway & Highest Artificial Lake

Experience the thrill of Asia's longest and highest cable car ride, connecting Joshimath to Auli (covering 4 kilometers). Glide over thick oak forests while enjoying a bird's-eye view of the valleys below. Auli is also home to the world's highest man-made lake, created to provide artificial snow on the ski slopes during times of low snowfall.

Majestic Himalayan Panoramas

Auli offers some of the most stunning, unobstructed 270-degree views of India's highest peaks. From the meadows, you can witness the sheer grandeur of Nanda Devi (India's second-highest peak), along with Mt. Trishul, Dronagiri, and Kamet. Trekking up to Gurso Bugyal rewards you with even more enchanting angles of these towering, snow-clad giants.
