The trek begins from Chopta, leading you up a steep but well-paved 3.5 km trail to Tungnath, the highest Shiva Temple in the world and one of the sacred Panch Kedars. Morning pickup from Dehradun Railway Station or Airport. Begin your scenic journey towards the magnificent meadows of Chopta. The drive takes you along the winding mountain roads following the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers via Devprayag and Rudraprayag. Upon reaching Chopta by late afternoon, check in to your pre-booked camps or homestay. Enjoy the crisp mountain air and a beautiful sunset. Dinner and overnight stay in Chopta.

Start early after breakfast. The trek from Chopta to Tungnath is 3.5 km and offers beautiful views of the alpine meadows and rhododendron forests. Visit the ancient Tungnath Temple (highest Shiva shrine) and soak in the spiritual ambiance and majestic Himalayan views. Trek back down to Chopta by late afternoon. Enjoy a relaxing evening by the campfire. Dinner and overnight stay in Chopta.

After breakfast, pack your bags and check out from your accommodation. Board your vehicle and commence the return journey to Dehradun. The driver will drop you at Dehradun Railway Station or Airport for your onward journey, bringing your unforgettable quick getaway to a close.
