Wake up to a glorious sunrise view over the Panchachuli peaks. After breakfast, depart for Munsiyari. En route, make a stop at the spectacular Birthi Falls, falling from a height of 126 meters amidst lush greenery. Proceed to Munsiyari and check into your hotel/homestay. The rest of the evening is at your leisure to soak in the dramatic, up-close views of the snow-capped Himalayan ranges. Dinner and overnight stay in Munsiyari.
After breakfast, embark on local sightseeing around Munsiyari. Visit the revered Nanda Devi Temple, located a short 3 km trek from the town, offering pristine panoramic mountain views. Explore the Tribal Heritage Museum to learn about the rich history, culture, and artifacts of the Bhotia people. You can optionally take a short trek towards Khaliya Top or explore the local market for hand-woven woolen items. Dinner and overnight stay in Munsiyari.
Start early today with a hearty breakfast and check out from your hotel. Commence the long, scenic return drive from Munsiyari back to the foothills. The driver will drop you off at Kathgodam Railway Station by the evening for your onward journey, bringing an end to a beautiful Himalayan trip.
